Remember that the way our representative republic was set up a “divided government” is good. That means it takes more time to impose laws on the citizens if they can do it at all.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic gave people craving control over others that and more will we start having “pandemics” declared about other things? Like isolation, poverty, homelessness, etc.?
